Build start!!

Almost all the changes to the jig and fabrication of fixtures is done! So soon it’s time to start build the Perman Racing Camaro 69!

Doing some changes!

Picked up some material at Bengtssons Smide yesterday, need to do some changes to the chassis jig and fabricate some new fixtures for the next chassis that will roll out from the SMRC shop!

Lenn did hit a really bad tire shake last round out with the Cuda at Kjula Dragway and lost the passenger door at about the finish line (1/8)

New personal best with our own Chevelle 65!

We made a 4.23sec run on the 1/8 mile at Sunoco Drag Challenge @ Gardermoen Raceway in Norway 2012-08-05!!

Wheelie bars done!

The wheelie bars for Pitchblack Racing is repaired and ready for pick up.

Getting the new front end in place!

Time to get some new tubing in the front of the chassis.

All the old tubing is cut of.

Insert tubing in place.

The front end main tubing are jiged up.

Mock up engine block in place, time for some measuring.

Start with tack welding some tubing in place to get everything in the right place.

One splice / rosette weld done.
